• do regular cleaning, make it a rule to vacuum every week and wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth, preferably with a small amount of ammonia;
• pack all food in airtight containers, do not leave food waste on the table or in the sink;

• do not allow leaks in the water supply, wipe the walls and floor in the bathroom dry after bathing;
• Make sure that there are no unprotected passages or cracks leading into neighboring apartments; cover the ventilation shafts with a fine mesh.

Ingredients:

• Water (1 bucket)
• Vinegar (100 ml)
• Mustard powder (3 tbsp)
• Turpentine (50 ml)
• Onion peel infusion (300 ml)
• Wormwood infusion (300 ml)
• Garlic infusion (300 ml)

Preparation:

1. Place all ingredients in a deep garden container
2. Fill with water
3. Stir
4. Use in the evening to spray potato bushes

Ingredients:

• Mustard powder (6 tbsp)
• Laundry soap (50 g)
• Vinegar (100 ml)
• Water (1l + 1 bucket)

Preparation:

1. Pour mustard powder with water (1 l)
2. Leave for 2 days
3. Dilute with the rest of the water (1 bucket)
4. Add grated laundry soap
5. Add vinegar
6. Mix thoroughly
7. Use for spraying potato bushes

IMPORTANT: Colorado beetles do not develop immunity to a mixture of mustard and vinegar, so this product can be used repeatedly in the same area.

Rules for the preparation and use of mustard-vinegar solutions for effective control of the Colorado potato beetle:

• Spray the bushes as thoroughly as possible, do not be afraid to “overdo it”. Abundant treatment is guaranteed to repel beetles from potatoes.
• Treat the beds on windless, cool evenings.
• Do not allow solutions containing vinegar to flow into the ground; make sure that most of it remains on the leaves.
• If a mustard solution without adding vinegar is used for processing, you can also use it for watering.
• Do not use the solution later than 2 hours from the moment of preparation.
• Do not use the solution in the heat - in the sun it will instantly lose its properties.
• Stop spraying 20 days before harvest.
