With so many versions of Spider-Man in the Marvel Multiverse, fans often ask, who is the most powerful Spider-Man? These are the most powerful.

Spider-Man is one of Marvel's most popular superheroes and one of the most recognizable pop culture icons in the world. This friendly neighborhood internet guy has a ton of superhero movies, TV series, spin-off comics, and video games in his portfolio. Even those who are not comic book fans will recognize this character by his widespread appearance.

Most people know Spider-Man as Peter Parker. His most notable appearances to date include the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sam Raimi's trilogy, Marc Webb's duology, and the Insomniac video games. However, there are many other variations of this character. These spider people are immensely strong and powerful. Here are some of the most powerful versions of this popular superhero.

Updated December 14, 2022 by Patrick Mocella : With the theatrical release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the fan-teasing "Spider-Verse" has finally come to live action, and fans have never craved knowledge about the multiverse versions of the Wall-Crawler. Who's the fastest? Who is the strongest? This answer doesn't always mean that we get very heroic versions of the crawler, since many of them are villainous or something inhumane. Fans are expecting the return of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in No Way Home, but these versions of Spider-Man certainly exist and you can read about them and watch them in their comics and TV shows.

15 Spider-Man Mistress

While it seems like an odd choice to include among the other powerful heroes on this list, Fruit Pie Mistress Spider-Man is not one to be mocked.

Originally created for Hostess snack commercials in the pages of Marvel Comics, Hostess Spider-Man appears to mirror his 616 counterpart, except for one detail: he appears to have superpowers to subdue and influence others. to have them do his bidding through overwhelming desires. Hostess snacks like Twinkies, fruit pies and more. It seems ridiculous, but in reality we're sure that if the other Spider-Men had the ability to stop criminals by simply throwing snacks at them, they'd totally do it.

The spider is just very spectacular

Let's look at Spider-Man from a mechanical point of view. What can he do? Old Spidey somersaults coolly and shows off acrobatic moves. He also crawls along the walls. And flies around the city on a web. Apart from any additional abilities, there are three interesting modes left, from which beautiful action scenes are easily built.

Anything will do as an example: any of the three film versions, cartoons and especially games. Even those who criticized the spider video games for the PlayStation still noted that flying on the web is pure fun. And how many children dreamed the same way! There are clearly more of them than those who would prefer to fly statically, like Superman or Thor.

It is unclear whether this was a conscious design from Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. They seemed to make a lot of intuitive decisions that at first glance seemed like strange nonsense. What other Spider? Everyone is afraid of spiders, but they don’t like them! And what is this red and blue fishnet suit? If you abstract from our knowledge of pop culture, it turns out to be some kind of nonsense. But it all worked.

Spidey probably has the most visual potential of any Marvel superhero. Its basic configuration includes a bunch of options for just moving in space. Flying on a web is a cheat because it resembles either a swing or a roller coaster. A great excuse to give the camera a good spin. And wonder: how many characters do you know who are interesting to follow as they silently walk from point A to point B?

Spider is the first teenage hero

Despite the fact that comics used to be less adult, only adult men and women were allowed to become superheroes. And teenage heroes only appeared in the role of auxiliary squires. Let's look at the DC universe for examples, where this has always been very bad.

Robin is Batman's young ward, Kid Flash is the future real Flash, Aqualad is Aquaman's sidekick. And so on. The authors seemed to be telling the audience: “You read, kids, but don’t forget that this is an activity for adults. Superheroes are not like you!”

And then Spider-Man appears - a teenager who is bullied at school. But he defeats powerful supervillains without any discounts or senior partners. Parker almost never relied on outside help, and all attempts to push him into some team, as a rule, turned out to be pathetic.

But Spider's territory often became a space for small crossovers. Either Doctor Doom got in the way, which made it necessary to collaborate with the Fantastic Four, or Tony Stark was brutally raked by Mysterio, although in solo comics he solved the world's problems.

What does all this mean? First, it's easy to see a simple moral: teenagers are not second class. Secondly, the target audience of comics was given the opportunity to get even closer to the hero. Considering all the mundane problems from the previous point, it turned out great. Therefore, even the ancient animated series about Spider-Man were hits, and only a few people remembered the appearances about the so-called Hulk.

Spider-Man gathered the best Marvel villains around him

That’s why “No Way Home” resonated with many people. Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus are too cool to leave behind. Although Holland himself had complete order with the villains: the Vulture and (to a lesser extent) Mysterio played on the cult status of comics and cartoons. And how everyone is waiting for a normal Venom to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Now try to remember at least one awesome enemy of Iron Man. I'll give you one minute. Well, how is it working out? Tony Stark, played by Downey Jr., was the most popular character in the cinematic universe, but the best thing they threw at him was the cranberry Mickey Rourke and the fake Mandarin.

Let's chalk this up to a statistical anomaly. Maybe it will work with the Hulk? He fought such titans of the genre as Red Hulk, Maestro (not Ponasenkov), Leader and Abomination. If you're not a comic book fan, you probably don't know these beasts.

Captain America has the Red Skull, but that's a comic book excuse for not using Hitler as an antagonist. There is no point in listing the remaining enemies. None of them are worthy to even clean Octavius's tentacles. But why?

It's simple. Marvel has always been good at heroes, and villains are DC's territory. But Spider-Man was the exception to the rule. That's because almost all of Spider's important enemies are not just crazy people in funny costumes, but people from Peter Parker's life.

Curt Connors, who became the Lizard, is an employer, the Green Goblin is the father of Harry Osborn's best friend, Doctor Octopus is a former mentor, and Eddie Brock, before the advent of Venom, was Peter Parker's longtime rival in the Daily Bugle. The creators of the films with Tobey Maguire went further: even the Sandman was non-canonically made the killer of Uncle Ben.

Any event that happened to Spidey almost always had a personal meaning for Peter Parker. And while fellow heroes usually have one or two such enemies, Spider-Man encountered dangerous flashbacks from the past almost every week. All of this is much cooler in terms of scenario potential than just an evil dude who decided to take over the world on this particular Tuesday.

Parker has always had great drama

In this regard, he has one competitor - Bruce Wayne, but this is a different publishing house. Although, if you take a closer look at Batman, you will find a lot in common with Spider. A loner, an orphan, he doesn’t fit well into the company of god-like characters, but he solves many issues with the help of his intellect. The box office for Bats' solo films was also fine, except for the terrible era of director Joel Schumacher.

Spidey is not only an understandable, but also a deeply traumatized superhero whose fate was sealed by the murder of Uncle Ben. And yes, the other characters never got personal use of the wolf’s timeless quote along the lines of “With great power comes great responsibility.” It seems simple, but no one could interrupt it.

The death of Uncle Ben is not just the canonical origin of Spidey, but also a topic to which Peter Parker has returned more than once. In Holland's case, she was outplayed in favor of Aunt May, but that didn't change things that much. Parker is still a hero driven by guilt and a specific motto. And if you remember about the death of Gwen Stacy, the guilt towards Harry Osborn, Eddie Brock and everyone he could not help, you get a cocktail of dark motivations that appear every now and then in the movies.

From a writing standpoint, Peter Parker has always been Stan Lee's best work. As if Spider-Man is harder to screw up than other characters. Already due to the fact that at its core there are already a bunch of great storylines lying around.

strengths and abilities

Taskmaster carefully trained Blood Spider in Spider-Man's fighting style. He has the same superhuman strength as Spider-Man.

Weapon

Blood Spider was equipped with a pair of web shooters similar in operation to Spider-Man, however Blood Spider's web shooters were attached by tubes from his wrists to a backpack-style device. The design of the device made it look like a more primitive and less compact version of Spider-Man's wrist-mounted standalone web shooters. Although Bloody Spider's shooters seemed more primitive to Spider-Man, they otherwise worked exactly the same.
