Insecticidal bombs
Smoke treatment is one of the oldest methods of pest control, which was the basis for the invention of modern smoke bombs. Typically they contain sulfur, hexachlorane, permethrin or bromides. The poisonous cloud spreads to the most secluded corners of the room, therefore, pests do not have the slightest chance to hide. But sulfur bombs also have disadvantages, namely:

- degree of processing - there is no way to control;
- specific smell - can persist in the room for several weeks;
- does not affect cockroach eggs - new pests will appear some time after treatment.
Safety
The drug belongs to the third class of danger. It is practically non-toxic for people. When diluted to the extent specified in the instructions, it will not harm pets. During work, use gloves, a respirator and protective clothing. At the end of the treatment, the clothes are shaken out outside and then washed.
When spraying, you must not smoke, eat or drink in the room where the session is taking place.
The substance must be stored in the bottle in which it is supplied. It must be kept away from fire, food, medications and heating devices. - Pyrethrum (Persian powder). These are crushed Dalmatian chamomile flowers. This is the very first pyrethrene insecticide, known since ancient times. It was he who formed the basis for the development of modern pyrethroids.
- Boric acid. It is a natural antiseptic that has been used for medical purposes for a long time. Once in the body of a cockroach, it affects the central nervous system.
Owners of cats and dogs have adapted to using Bars anti-flea spray against cockroaches. The fipronil-based product is intended for contact treatment of animal fur, therefore, it is not dangerous for them. The product is sprayed in areas of potential pest habitat.
Interestingly, until a certain point, our ancestors did not fight cockroaches at all. Moreover, their presence in the house was considered a symbol of prosperity, and the mass exodus of insects was considered a bad omen. But over time, people realized that these unsympathetic creatures were dangerous.
