This is an aerosol based on imiprotrin, a neurotoxic poison effective against adults and larvae. Does not destroy bedbug eggs, which necessitates secondary treatments. The drug is almost non-toxic to people and animals.

Protect yourself with a respirator and spray the spray where bedbugs have been spotted. With the help of a long and narrow tube, you can treat the space behind the baseboard, cracks in the floor, walls, spaces between furniture and other hard-to-reach places. To combat bedbugs, Raptor is used in the form of an aerosol based on alphacypermethrin. This substance penetrates the chitinous shell of insects and acts as a neurotoxin. In terms of toxicity to humans, the drug belongs to hazard class III. Therefore, you need to work with it using personal protective equipment. Raptor is ineffective against eggs.

You need to spray the aerosol near the nests formed by bedbugs. It can be used to treat cracks, joints between elements of upholstered furniture, baseboards, carpets and other secluded places. After treatment, leave the room for 30 minutes. Then ventilate it for 2 hours.

Cucaracha

Cucaracha is a concentrated suspension based on a complex of two neurotoxins: cypermethrin and malathion. Adult bedbugs and nymphs are sensitive to the drug. The product is ineffective against eggs. In terms of toxicity to humans, it belongs to hazard class III (moderately dangerous).

To prepare a working solution, dilute 2.5 g of suspension in one liter of water. Consumption is 45–50 ml per 1 sq. m. surface. When processing hygroscopic materials, it doubles. Repeat treatment after 10 days.

Insecticide

Insecticide is a three-component aerosol based on permethrin, cyperiethrin and piperonyl butoxide. The first two substances are powerful neurotoxins. The last component blocks the production of protective enzymes in the bug's body. Most insects die within half an hour. The product is effective in the fight against bedbugs at all stages of development.

Spray the spray for 10 seconds to cover every square meter of space. Keep the can at a distance of 20 cm from surfaces. Pay special attention to cracks and secluded places. After disinfestation, leave the premises for 5 hours. Then come to open the windows. After two hours of airing, you can return home.

Powder insecticides

Do not doubt that most sellers will advise you on powder types of insecticides against bedbugs. The peculiarity of powder insecticides is that the parasite must feast on this product, after which it dies. But bedbugs feed on blood, so they definitely won’t feed on powder. This indicates that powder products are less effective than aerosols.

This applies only to powders that are based on intestinal poison. Such powders are cheap and practically ineffective. But another thing is powder, in which the main destructive substance is a contact poison. The use of such means increases the likelihood of killing bedbugs, but this process is extended over time.

In the store you can find the following types of effective insecticidal powders:

Chlorophos. Presented as an organophosphate insecticide that must be prepared before use. To prepare, you need to dilute 15 grams of powder in 10 liters of water. The drug is toxic and dangerous to humans, so follow all safety rules when using it. The result when using Chlorophos is almost 100%.

Neopine. An effective powder that allows you to overcome bed bugs once and for all. It also needs to be diluted in water before use. The method of application is to spray the resulting solution in all places where bedbugs can live. 2 hours after irrigation, the applied drug should be washed off. To get 100% results, it is necessary to carry out the procedure of irrigating the premises with this drug every day for 1-2 weeks. A one-time use of Neopin or Chlorophos will only reduce the number of parasites.

Mashenka. Many people probably know about the “Mashenka” chalk, as it is used to combat many types of domestic parasites. This type of chalk is based on a poison of the pyrethroid group, which destroys the nervous system of the parasite, after which the bug dies. Chalk Mashenka is inexpensive, but quite effective, so you can choose this product. It is used to combat single insects, but it is not capable of removing large colonies.

You can also find liquid means for killing bedbugs on the market, but there are very few of them. To use liquid insecticides, you will need to acquire special equipment, which is quite expensive. Moreover, liquid products are almost similar in effectiveness to aerosols and powder preparations.

Why is it better to contact the SES, pros and cons

As already mentioned, it is in the arsenal of specialists that there is everything necessary for a guaranteed effect and safe implementation of the treatment procedure: experience, knowledge, form, means and devices that destroy any parasites outright. But there are several more reasons why it is better to turn to professionals:

• safety for residents and animals;
• long lasting effect;
• guarantee (if surviving insects are found, re-treatment is free);
• using only professional insecticidal products (there are practically none of them on the open market);
• processing even in the most difficult to reach places.

Disadvantages can also be found if desired, but they are not significant and are quite debatable:

• paid (but with a guarantee, and not so expensive, considering that if you fight on your own, you will still have to spend money on insecticides and other means, and most often more than once);
• migration of bedbugs (yes, they can go to neighbors and come back, but if disinfestation is carried out together, this can be completely avoided).

After treatments carried out by the SES, most bedbugs die immediately from exposure to temperatures and poisons floating in the air, while others will die a little later upon contact with a contaminated surface, but occasionally individual bedbugs still remain unharmed.

Why do bedbugs sometimes survive?

There are cases when individual individuals can survive, and sometimes people themselves help them in this out of ignorance or due to insufficient experience in carrying out treatments:

1. during the destruction of bedbugs, the products did not penetrate into hard-to-reach places where there were insect nests;
2. a coordinated destruction of parasites was not carried out jointly with neighbors, and the insects returned;
3. due to the incorrect selection of insecticides, the bedbug eggs survived and new offspring hatched;
4. After treatment, general wet cleaning was immediately carried out (all long-acting products were washed away).
