To apply an anti-tick agent, you must perform the following steps:

Aerosol Reftamid Extra Anti-Tick Enhanced is an insectoacaricidal agent for protecting people from taiga and forest ticks, fleas (carriers of pathogens of dangerous human diseases: tick-borne encephalitis, borreliosis, plague, etc.).

COMPOUND

The product contains as active substances: alphacypermethrin - 0.2% and imiprothrin - 0.15%. As excipients it contains: functional additives in a hydrocarbon solvent using a hydrocarbon propellant that does not destroy the ozone layer of the atmosphere.

BIOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

The product has an acaricidal effect against taiga and forest ticks (carriers of tick-borne encephalitis and tick-borne borreliosis) and an insecticidal effect against fleas.

In the recommended mode of use, the product, with a single inhalation exposure in the form of an aerosol and vapor, belongs to class 3 of moderately hazardous substances, the volatile components of the product (vapors) released after processing the fabric belong to class 4 of low-hazard substances (according to the Classification of the degree of hazard of disinfestation products).

Upon single contact with the skin and mucous membranes of the eyes, it causes severe irritation. Does not have a sensitizing effect. In accordance with GOST 12.01.007-76, in terms of acute toxicity parameters when administered into the stomach, the product belongs to class 3 of moderately hazardous substances, when applied to the skin to class 4 of low-hazardous substances.

PURPOSE

The product is intended to protect people from taiga and forest ticks, fleas (carriers of pathogens of dangerous human diseases: tick-borne encephalitis, borreliosis, plague, etc.) when processing clothing and other fabric products. The duration of protective action against ticks and fleas is up to 15 days.

APPLICATION

Shake the container. Handle clothing and other fabric products outdoors (in a place protected from the wind). Position the products and direct the spray in the direction of the wind. Spray the product onto the products from a distance of 20-25 cm from them, holding the can at arm's length. The total processing time for trousers and shirts is no more than 2 minutes. Particularly carefully treat clothing around the ankles, shins, knees, thighs, shoulder girdle and areas where ticks and fleas can enter the body. Dry the clothes and put them on underwear. Use at a temperature not lower than plus 10°C.

Repeat treatment after 10-15 days or after washing.

Violating the rules of behavior and the method of using the product can lead to ticks being sucked on.

PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES

Do not smoke or eat while using the product. Do not spray near open flames or hot objects. Protect from exposure to direct sunlight and heating above plus 40°C.

Pressurized cylinder. Do not disassemble or give to children. Do not treat clothing on a person or wear it until completely dry. Wear treated clothing over underwear. Store treated clothing in a plastic bag.

Clothes for children, pregnant and lactating women should be handled by other adults. After work, wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap.

Persons with skin diseases and hypersensitivity to chemical components should use the product with caution. Avoid contact with respiratory organs, mouth, eyes and skin.

FIRST AID MEASURES

If the product gets into the eyes and/or skin, rinse with water; if it gets into the mouth, rinse; if it gets into the respiratory system, remove the victim to fresh air. If necessary, consult a doctor, have the label or instructions with you.

STORAGE

Store the product away from sources of fire at temperatures from minus 40°C to plus 40°C, separately from medicines and food products, out of the reach of children and animals. Shelf life under proper storage conditions is 3 years.

Precautionary measures

The following precautions should be taken when spraying anti-tick sprays:

  • cannot be used at air temperatures below +10°C;
  • Do not spray near fire or hot objects;

  • Before spraying, it is recommended to wear a respirator and gloves;
  • things for children and pregnant women should be handled by another person;
  • It is not recommended for one person to spray more than 1 cylinder per day;
  • Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and skin; if this happens, rinse with clean water or rinse;

No matter how effective repellents are, all of them have contraindications because they contain chemicals. They must be used with extreme caution:
