The product has a quick effect on insects. Within an hour, the pests stop feeding, and after 24 hours they die. The drug has a detrimental effect on adults and larvae.

Compatibility with other substances

"Borey" is allowed to be combined in mixtures with fungicides for the treatment of grains with the preparations "Kolosal" and "Kolosal Pro", "Demerta", "Eraser Extra", "Eraser 100", "Ballerina", for the treatment of rape - with the preparation "Galion" , beets - with “Biceps 22” and “Biceps Guarantor” products. Can be combined with mineral fertilizers and growth regulators.

If the compatibility of the active substances of the drugs is unknown, testing must be done before mixing: mix a small amount of a solution of both products and check the chemical reaction. If there is no change in color, consistency, temperature, sediment does not fall out and lumps form, the products can be mixed.

Composition and release form

Borey pesticide is a concentrated suspension and must be diluted with water before use. Available in liter plastic bottles. On sale you can find a two-component drug and a three-component one, the latter is sold under the name Borey Neo.

The composition of the classic type includes imidacloprid at a concentration of 150 g and lambda-cyhalothrin at a concentration of 50 g per 1 liter. This combination of active ingredients provides a rapid toxic effect and a prolonged protective effect. Moreover, the active components are not destroyed by sunlight, which guarantees the death of pests at different stages of development.

The drug Borey Neo contains alpha-cypermethrin instead of lambda-cyhalothrin. belonging to the class of pyrethroids. Also additionally included is the neonicotinoid clothianidin. According to the instructions for use, the Borey Neo insecticide is intended to protect potatoes and grain crops. The drug remains active not only at high temperatures, but also at high air humidity. The quality of treatment with Borey is comparable to the herbicide Titus.

Analogs

The use of two components turned out to be so effective that the idea was picked up by many manufacturers. Today the market offers several insecticides, analogues of Borea, based on lambda-cyhalothrin and imidacloprid. Often their operating principle is identical. The ratio of active ingredients, concentration and consumption of the drug differ slightly.

Gunner Duo. The concentration of lambda-cyhalothrin/imidacloprid is higher – 100 + 300 g/liter, respectively. It is used for the spread of leaf-eating and sucking pests. Parasitic insects die within an hour after spraying. Combines with growth stimulant additives and foliar feeding.

Gunner Duo

Greenfort IL-200. Two-component insecticide against a wide range of crop pests. The ratio of lambda-cyhalothrin/imidacloprid is 50 + 150 g/liter. Systemic, contact and contact-intestinal effects on pests. Particularly effective against hidden pests. It is characterized by its low cost per hectare of cultivation, therefore it is used for processing large areas.

Modern agricultural crops are gradually losing their innate ability to resist pests, and without modern insecticides it is difficult to obtain a decent harvest. Borei combines a quick effect, prolonged protection against pests, while it is completely removed from the vegetative parts and does not accumulate in the fruits.

Mechanism of action of the insecticide

This insecticide has a contact-systemic effect. After treatment, it forms a protective film on the surface of leaves and shoots, and also penetrates the plant tissue and spreads to all its parts. As a result, the Borey insecticide begins to act not only upon contact with the pest, but also after it feeds on the treated plant.

Penetrating inside the insect’s body, the active components block the transmission of nerve impulses from the brain to the peripheral endings. This immobilizes the insect. It stops feeding and dies after a while.

The first results become noticeable after 1 hour. A single treatment is enough to destroy an entire colony of pests. Borei can be used on crops 1-2 times per season.

Storage rules

The insecticide "Borey" is stored for 3 years from the date of production. Storage conditions: dry, dark and ventilated area. The concentrate must be stored in original packaging. Can be kept together with fertilizers and other pesticides; food, feed, medicines and household products are excluded.

After the end of the shelf life, the drug must be disposed of. Use the entire solution on the day of preparation; it can be stored for only 1 day. After this, there is no point in using it, as it loses its effectiveness.
